First of all, because it is rare to find an artist whose language and style are that personal. Also because his interpretations (piano transcriptions?) embrace jazz history. Then because he seeks far, deep, where light is scarce, where darkness reveals only the essence. Finally, because this concert has an inner urge to express, and offers maybe his most beautiful rendering of « You've Changed ».
Tout d’abord parce qu’ils sont rares, les artistes dont la langue et le style sont personnels. Aussi parce que ses interprétations (transcriptions pour piano ?) embrassent l’histoire du jazz. Egalement parce qu’il va chercher loin, profond, où la lumière est rare, où les ténèbres ne révèlent que l’essentiel. Enfin, parce que ce concert a une urgence à exprimer, et qu’il contient peut-être sa plus belle interprétation de « You’ve Changed ».
