This music is far from being a fusion of instruments melting their voices, with musicians walking hand in hand in search of the perfect harmony. Rosen, Robert and Levallet each have far too strong a personality for this. Their work is more about a rambling conversation. No small, but serious talk, going deep into the improvised form. An astonishing musical technique at the service of unpredictable musical incidents. Kind of a fusion between the art of craftsmen and wizards.
Nous sommes loin ici de la fusion de timbres de trois musiciens marchant main dans la main, à la recherche de l’harmonie parfaite. Rosen, Robert et Levallet ont une personnalité bien trop forte. Il s’agit plutôt d’une conversation à bâton rompu. Pas question ici de small talk, mais d’aller au fond de la chose improvisée. Une grande science de l’instrument rompue aux accidents de parcours. Sorte de fusion de l’artisan et du sorcier.
